Hi All,
I have been conducting some research into Steel Bows and on one patent application I came across a reference to an article by DR J Rendtorff that appeared in the Forest & Stream Magazine published on February 8th 1913 about the "Toxophilist's Paradox".
It seems that this may be the first time that the paradox was actually described and named. I have been trying to find out if anyone still has access to back issues  of the magazine, particularly this one and if it would be possible to get a copy of the article?
Many thanks
Dave

Hi Dave.  Try a websearch for Archer's Paradox.  I don't have access to the back issues you are looking for but the archer's paradox is pretty well understood and can be read about numerous places online.

Thanks for that, I do already have plenty of information regarding the paradox, I was hoping to get a copy of that particular article as it is alledgedly the first time it was named and written about. It would be a shame if it disapeared completely. That is why I am hoping that someone has access to back issues and can copy it.
